| hi all new to the forum, and just wanted to pick at your brains. I'm really tempted by the new nightster, and am hoping someone could answer a few questions for me. 1st i have a restricted license, so can you get them restricted? I've read on this forum that people have had the 883 restricted, but if I can get the 1200 restricted it'll save me changing bikes when I get my full license. 2nd I'm about 6"2 and have herd the sportsters are a bit cramped for taller riders, but would the forward peg conversion sort this? and 3rd I use my bike all year, every day for my comute to work, about a 10 mile town ride, I know the harley might not be perfect for this but how much of a compromise would I have to make? any help would be greatly received. |

| Re: owning a nightster im 6ft and fit fine on a sporty with forward controls(very comfy)...any bike can be used all year, harleys just take more pampering, esp with salt on the alloy(forks etc)..and yeah most bikes can be restricted, speak to a dealer

| Re: owning a nightster My mate has just bought a 96 inch Electraglide and he's had that restricted by the main dealer, so I would imagine a Nightser could be done as well.

| Re: owning a nightster All year round riding is possible. You just have to clean it everyday or cover it in protectant. Or just let it go but in my eyes that's no an option. |
