V&H staggered shortshots

Seen the pipes I want for the 07 XL883R. Only thing is they don't meet or conform with EU Directive 97/24/EC Chapter 9. I presume this is some sort of noise thing?
Are the quiet baffles really quiet or will I still get the sound I want?

CRUISER ECOSSE UK : Vance & Hines Exhaust Systems, Mufflers, & Fuelpaks...

model number for the pipes is 47219.

Re: V&H staggered shortshots

I thought I knew Cupar reasonably well! Will have to seek out Cruiser Ecosse when next up there.

V&H are not known for their discrete exhausts, a comment that could be made about most US aftermarket systems. So they are not going to be very quiet, its more a case of how much noise you would like to make! Bear in mind these are plain short pipes, so no matter what they install inside them they will have only a modest silencing effect.
