Re: painful seat

Iv got a seat from an 883 r on mine , the solo was crap, only good for about 20 miles, still no good for a passenger, the wife managed about a mile and a half before demanding to be let off.

I got my Mustang Fastback from these folks:

Custom Cruisers UK Motorcycle Parts and Accessories for Cruiser Motorcycles

They were really helpful and friendly and don't take any dosh until it's on it's way to you.

Re: painful seat

I struck lucky with my seat. I've got Harley touring seat part no 52073-978 that somebody ordered and then couldn't afford so I got it at cost. Really comfortable and great on the long distances. Up to Reivers 290 odd miles no problem with arse ache. Highly recommended.

Just be wary while looking through them. The Yanks produce lots of seats with a wonderful wide bucket for the rider, but often with a much narrower pillion seat.

I have a Corbin on my Glide which as I recall is about 17 inches wide at the front, 16 at the rear, similar in appearance to the Ovalbac on the link. The seats are very firm, but well shaped and comfortable. We had a fortnight's tour recently and covered over 2,500 miles on it. I was comfy all the way, but my wife was less so over the last couple of days. In other words they work very well for us!

Hi.Got my seat from One Stop Moto in the States.(OneStopMoto.com - Motorcycle Parts, Gear & Accessories)
Price was $191.000 plus$61.00 shipping. Those nasty people at UK customs took another £33.00 duty.

That's why it is worth finding out the price from a UK source, if possible, before buying from the USA.
