Hello All I want to change my headlight to a Bates-Style Headlight.. 1..How do I fit it to the bottom yoke, do they come with brackets or will I have to drill a hole..(Why are the called triple trees when there are only two of them??) 2...What do I do with all the wiring in the back of the standard headlight.. My bates headlight is fitted to a hole in the botton yoke. I have a wide front end and it came drill for it. If you have std cast yokes you will only need to find a flat surface near the front to drill a 3/8 hole. Once you have that done it is plain sailing apart from the wiring, and that wont be to bad. Sportster head lights are small like a bates but deeper if i remember my std headlight, you will need to fit it in the bates light. Triple trees is a yank thing we call then yoke here
