Agreed it's a very good museum, but they don't own all of the exhibits. A lot of them are privately owned vehicles which are stored there in return for allowing the public access. Also, quite a number are taxed and used regularly through the summer. Well worth a visit sometime - Rideout anyone?

Can't comment on their Harley manual, but the Haynes manual for the series 3 Landy is pretty good - never found a job I couldn't do from it.
Also, Haynes historically supported motorcycling through sponsorship of various events, and as far as I know were the longest running single sponsor of a motorcycle championship - the Haynes Publishing Fourstroke Motocross Championship (I competed in this from '79 to '93).

'Spose this should have it's own thread really, sorry for the hijack Nick

Re: which sportster manual?

I have a genuine Sportster workshop manual and parts catalouge as well for a 91 model. i was going to put them on ebay for £40.00 for the both of them.

The workshop manual it in perfect condition apart from some black thumb prints, the parts book has seen better days but all the info is easily readable.
