Agreed it's a very good museum, but they don't own all of the exhibits. A lot of them are privately owned vehicles which are stored there in return for allowing the public access. Also, quite a number are taxed and used regularly through the summer. Well worth a visit sometime - Rideout anyone?
Can't comment on their Harley manual, but the Haynes manual for the series 3 Landy is pretty good - never found a job I couldn't do from it.
Also, Haynes historically supported motorcycling through sponsorship of various events, and as far as I know were the longest running single sponsor of a motorcycle championship - the Haynes Publishing Fourstroke Motocross Championship (I competed in this from '79 to '93).
