brakes not as effective

Hi guys, i might have contaminated my diks pads/disc with solvoauto polish as they as not as responsive, will this wear off, can i clean them or is it new pads?

By the time you take pads out to try and clean them it would be easier and safer to replace them. Use brake cleaner on disk before fitting them so you do not contaminate the new pads.
