for foul weather riding, what is better or more practical, a one piece or two piece waterproof oversuit.

Re: waterproofs

Two piece.

I made the mistake of getting a one piece and it's like wrestling with Big Daddy trying to get it on & off. Plus it's supposed to fold back into it's inside pocket to use as a carrying pouch..............forget it

Re: waterproofs

I've lost count of how many one piece waterproofs I've had over the years & as Kendo says it's no fun trying to get into them in the pouring rain on the roadside - what I'd like to know is do bike waterproofs really exist? Without exception, every one of mine has leaked in the crotch area - must be due to the puddle that accumulates there every time it rains .. The best I ever had was on old waxed Belstaff jacket - never leaked at the seams .. They might be the way to go if the pants are just as good?

Re: waterproofs

Two piece.

The trouser always tend to leak long before the jacket, or just get burnt torn, then, just replace the trousers.

Re: waterproofs

I have a Furygan one piece .It is excellent. Have ridden in non stop torrential rain all day long (not on the Harley ) and ,apart from having to stop every so often to wring my gloves out ,I arrived perfectly dry.
It is a b@stard to get on and off though.
