Here are some Lift adaptors for Dyna or from your friendly local dealer!

Re: Strongarm Lift

If you a have a Makro cash & carry near you they do motorcycle life. Very similar to the Clarke's bike lift from machine mart. I paid £49 + vat. Lifts my Heritage no problem at all.

Re: Strongarm Lift

Ref: the Harley lift adapters (P/N 98965-99), a couple of questions:

I've a Dyna Street Bob......

1. Are they ok to use with a Clarke lift?
2. Do I actually need to buy them, or can I use a piece of wood the same thickness as the sump protector under the nearside frame tube? That way I'd be lifting under the sump protector at the offside and the frame tube (with the wood) at the nearside? (in other words - is the sump protector strong enough!!)

Thanks in advance for any advice...

Re: Strongarm Lift

No worries - forget my question.

Put words into action and tried it. No problem at all - no wood, spacers, £20 Harley Lift Adapters needed, thanks. The Clarke lift (without the extra bridge they supply) fits nicely across the rear frame brackets and on the pegs under the frame either side of the side stand. Misses the sump completely.

Lifts it a treat - as people have said, you have to put the stand up to clear the lift, but its all nice and stable - worth putting a tie down strap on, thought - just to make sure.

Letting it down again is a bit exciting, though.... the release pedal isn't very subtle!!

Make sure you don't knock the side stand in before you lower!!!!!
