| Crappy Chrome? Seeing a few posts re how chrome and paint are incompatable! Question is,can chrome be prepped for paint? I would guess at shot blasting but dont know,seems MOCO dont know how to do it. Someone round here must have done it,please fill us in ![]()

| Re: Crappy Chrome? Shot or bead blasting is the way to prep it. Once the chrome starts to lift it comes off easily. Once down to bare metal....just prepare it for the paint as normal. Brian

| Re: Crappy Chrome? I remember a guy de chroming his bike years ago ,he took his bits to a plating shop and they dipped his stuff in acids to remove the chrome. |
