Leading link front end.

Hi to all, I'm new on here and I'm after some info if possible. I have a metro trike which has been standing waiting for a rewire for 12 months! when I bought it the receipt stated that the front end is from a 1945 Harley Davidson, I am considering removing the said front end and selling it! then selling the trike with a new front end and its V5 and letting someone else do the rewire!!. It is leading link forks with 16" wheel, the bars still have the internal throttle mechanism but its on a foot throttle, I just wondered if anyone on here might have an idea of a value? its not in bad condition and could be brought back with some little effort!! I wondered if it was perhaps from a servi-car? but it has a cable operated front disc! I thought the servi-car was twin leading shoe! I'm not sure on harleys at all really, just thought it may be a bit of a rarity and useful to someone doing a rebuild, any info greatly appreciated, email please through this site, many thanks. replica versions of the origanal harley springer forks run at £900 , from w&w i think.
DNA and Flyright do their versions for about £450 , these are obviously new so I hope this helps .Lots of people building bobbers now so there should be a market if you price them right. hope this helps
