Tips on keeping me new shiny shiny please

Hello All

My bike has shiny bits comming out of its ears (but not quite like Hog's shiny).

Anyway, as I am a lazy bastard, I figured it is probably better to get into the habit of often and early, so can you peeps please tell me both how and how not to?

If you are ever in the N.West let me know. I have a large garage full of challenges for you. Payment by beer but you will be too busy to get drunk.
