Screens

I have a 2004 Softail Standard which came with a Harley after market detachable compact windshield. I have not been able to get on with this screen as I get bad turbulance behind it over 40mph. There is no adjustment on the mountings so I can't alter the height or pitch. Has anybody come accross this problem and got any answeres.

Re: Screens

Does Harley Davidson supply a special drill for that job?

Re: Screens

You can trim it down easily with a Dremmel tool. Do it an inch at a time & ride it to see how the turbulance has changed.

I've just cut 4" off my screen & it is now perfect for me.
