weird sound

help please
ok i no this sounds like an alarm question but its nothing to do with security so please humour me.

rode bike the other day in a typical beautiful british summer day(ie it was persisting down) when i got to my destination bike set alarm but it sounded like it was underwater. went back to bike shook bike to set alarm off andit still sounded underwater is this a common fault or is there anything i should check please

Yes this is a common problem only found out by riders that go out in the rain ?

it happens some times when you wash your bike, It will soon dry out and

annoy you.

cheers for pm and i do believe this was a teh tip cause it mite have bin a technical answer and i needed a tip to sort it,lol
