| Filthy Fat Bob
Picked up my new FB a couple of weeks ago, got caught in about 5 minutes heavy rain on the motorway and couldn't believe how filthy it was at the back end. There was grit all over the back end, even down between the rear of the seat and my backside. I've ripped through welsh bogs on an enduro bike and come out cleaner on the other side. The front edge of the rear mudguard stops a couple of inches from the swing arm. How can I plug this gap without resorting to cutting holes in the mudguard to fit a piece of plastic. Also, are there any substantial fender extenders for the front end. The Harley ones seem to be styling exercises rather than serious attempts to keep the crap off my bike. |

I drilled a couple of holes in my fender and fitted a piece of plastic (a cheap mudflap), that fits through the swinging arm legs.... ![]() Been there so long I had forgotten fitting it!
