aluminium brake calipers

Okies here we go,
now i have just got off the phone about my calipers and Nick at A.R.Harley has informed me that ISR want the split caliper back before they send out a replacement. all well and good although this now means im probably gonna be without brakes for at least two weeks, so what are my options can i get the split repaired? if so is this safe on a braking componant? or do i just sit patiently whilst ISR sort it out?

Re: aluminium brake calipers

Don't take chances with brakes, Will. I know it's easy to say but just bite the bullet and wait for the pukka gear to arrive. Better be safe than sorry

Take care,
Andy

Did you buy them off ISR or A.R.Harley? If the latter then tell them to sort it. If they fob you off with ISR, contact trading standards
