certificate of origin and dating

New to this site so lets see what info i can get from 'Harleyland'.
Just bought a Fatboy softail, presently parked at my bros house in usa. Two of the stipulations that the dvla have requested on importing it are 1. A certificate of origin. 2. A dating certificate.
Does anybody know where i may aquire either or both of these certs? The DVLA havent been very helpful in directing me to somewhere i can get them and nor have(surprisingly) HDUK or HDUSA. any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah contacted them and they just fobbed me off by telling me to get in touch with my supplier? which is my brother....so that didnt work. and when i contacted some dealers they didnt wanna know coz i didnt buy the bike from them. Feel like i'm going round in circles! surely it cant be that difficult, can it??
