I have noticed 1 or 2 people have mentioned that they have not seen much about this years rally. I can assure you that steve and the boys have preparations well under way and are only this weekend sorting out a new poker run.A list of bands is on the club facebook page which includes some of the best bands seen at a rally.There are first class amenities available,good food stands plus a canteen. The market place will be supported by Black Bear Harley Davidson,Crazy Horse,Andy Harris and Solo customs plus numerous other stands.The bike show on saturday should attract some of the best custom and vintage harleys about.There will be music through the show and straight through the evening.As well as the great bands there will be a disco in the hall which should go on to the early hours.There will be A surf machine and a rodio bull on the sat afternoon.There has been no need to prebook be cause of the amount of room on the site .If the weathers good the site has its own beach.More to follow on the 6 sept the only way is Essex.

Thanks for the info, I'll be leaving my sons' house in the morning, when are you setting up as I can come on the Thursday, if you need a hand, I'll be glad to help.
It's not so easy to get over now as it's getting so expensive, what with the boat rip and the cost of go-go juice, so I want to make the most of it! Plus it's nice to be in my home county!

Don't understand that Phil as the flyers have been up and running for ages here in this section, in the quin and in Essex section plus links from our homepage in Upcoming Events.

Dave, setting up will be Wednesday as the rally starts on Thursday 6th until 9th Sept, a 3 nighter international.

phew...you go offline for a weekend and all hell breaks loose

thanks to baza and virago phil (still cracks me up that one ) for the updates posted.

so - quick update from me...

new poker run route - taking in the best of the north essex countryside, with a great selection of stops for ale and food. the poker run will be on the friday this year, as the rally starts on thursday and there's loads to do on-site on saturday. so, try and get that extra day off and join us from thursday.

what's on - well, as detailed mainly on the flyer and earlier posts...some cracking bands playing throughout the weekend with enough of a mix/variety for everyone's tastes. bands will be playing in the marquee this year, with a DJ playing in to the early hours in the hall. the main bar will be open for most of the day and late into the night, but we'll also have a real ale bar in the marquee. loads to do throughout the day and if the weather's good, we may even open the swimming pool on-site. we're putting up a case of beer for whoever manages to stay on the rodeo bull and/or surfboard the longest. and we've also got a fantastic spread of prizes for the raffle too.

food - a good selection of food stalls will be on-site right through the weekend, and as usual, the canteen will be open for freshly cooked brekkie and dinner.

all in all a great rally planned for all of you to come down and enjoy yourselves on the essex coast...and we're usually really lucky with good weather as well.

massive thanks to all the essex crew for getting stuck in...it's going to be a cracker.

Slots are of hourly sessions and preferably a minimum of three on each time slot. This doesn't have to be regional, but can be a trio of friends.
