Rideout to Popham This Sunday 19th August

Hi Everyone,

Rideout this Sunday 19th August

Popham airfield bike/auto jumble & vintage aircraft fly in . Bit of an annual trip this one, bring your wallet as there are lots of goodies to rummage through for you and your bike. Leave the petrol station J7, M27 at 1030 and take the back roads to Popham. Good fun. Your entry is free if your bike is over 30 years old, £6 for the rest of us regardless of the age of your bike. Who you ride back with is dependent upon what time you want to leave. Lots going on to keep us all amused for a few hours.

Thumbs up Southern UK Bikers Motorcycle Run: Sunday 30th September 2012.

A fundraising motorcycle event is taking place on Sunday 30th September 2012.
Motorcyclists from across the south east are invited to support and raise awareness of their local Air Ambulance charity by taking part in a Motorbike Run.
The run will commence from the South of England Showground at Ardingly (RH17 6TL) to the Surrey/Sussex Air Ambulance Base at Dunsfold Park, Cranleigh (GU6 8TB).
Meeting at the Showground from 9.30am for registration (snack vans available for breakfast) the run will set off at 11.30am for Dunsfold Park – a distance of approximately 30 miles. Each biker will be provided with a headlight sticker to identify them as part of the run before setting off at 11.30 towards Dunsfold Park. The event will be marshaled along its route.

We are delighted that Steve Mercer, the professional motorcycle racer and a British Superbike Cup winner from Maidstone, will be joining the Ride and will be at Dunsfold Park. Steve Mercer Racing

Sun 16th Sept essex Air Ambulance charity ride.

Motorcycle Run 2012

Essex Air Ambulance Motorcycle Run 2012
The Motorcycle Run is the biggest and longest running event in the Charity’s fundraising calendar and is now in its 13th year. Over 5,000 bikers take part every year and more than 2,000 visitors descend on Harwich. This ever popular event raises vital funds to keep the emergency helicopter flying and saving lives.
The 60 mile run starts at Ford Dunton Technical Centre in Laindon where bikers will be entertained by motorcycle stunt shows and more! They then follow a police-approved route finishing in Harwich for the fantastic Family Festival on Harwich Green with live entertainment hosted by Martin Day from Heart Breakfast.
All bikers that pre-register to take part in the event, are automatically entered into a Prize Draw to win a £1,500 Biker Spending Spree courtesy of Jim Aim Motorcycles!
