Missed you good folks,was there at around 13-30 on me ole T Bird,just called in after a run to the Motor Cycle Museum in Greenford, very smokey at the Ace today .

we had a ride to Britain's highest pub today.....the Tan Hill Inn on the Penine Way, 1740ft above sea level. Kinda near Brough on the A66....on the edge of Cumbria....but once up on the moor you feel miles from nowhere! The Inn boasts real ale, and great Sunday lunch to boot! Good turn-out - four of us from the North East, half a dozen Yorkies and maybe 8-10 from the Lakes.


ye olde Inn. They even have a barn for bands and rally fun.


always plenty of variety in the car park even in winter. An MG car club was there today also.

the Lakes crew leaving.....at this time of year it's best to keep a nice memory of a nice riding day and get outta there about 2pm. Some of them snow gates are kinda tall....

It was a 150 mile round trip for me but even further for others......nice to see everyone

And I can happily confirm that the Yorkshire Rep's grandson is a HELL of a lot cuter than the Yorkshire rep!!!
