Yanks Weekend 2009 - 30th/31st May

Admin if I hope you guys don't mind me putting AVO events on here? If you'd rather I didn't please feel free to remove it ;)

This is a great weekender and is open to all as the organisers have just posted this on our forum "We've also opened up the event to American bikes as well: Harley's, Indians and Victory's". for more info see the flyer on the link below

Re: Yanks Weekend 2009 - 30th/31st May

Hi All just a quick bumb as the months are flying past so quick and it will be on us soon and the organizers/and me would like to see some American bikes there too although not to sure if i can get mine up as i have to drive either a Winnebago up or a Chevy camaro

You can either book in advance for £20 per person or pay at the gate when it costs a smidge more at £25. That's for a weekend ticket and includes camping. If you do decide to join us let me know and I'll get you to the list.

So far the line up includes
*National Association of Street Clubs
*American Vehicle Owners Club (of which i am a area rep )
*American Recreational Vehicle Club
*Classic Corvette Club UK
*Pontiac Owners Club UK
*Mustang Owners Club UK
*Rebel V8 Club

*MMA Muscle Car Power Tour
*Supercharged Outlaws
*Outlaw Anglia
*Wild Bunch Nostalgia
*Outlaw Flat Fours v European Supa Bugs
*Street Racer Series
*Vette Performance Series

There is also talk of Winnebago racing(not like top gears attempt) It will be the last race class of the day either on Saturday but more likely to be on the Sunday as they will have to clear the pit area to get them lined up strait as they are a tad big for the normal approach to the start
So it is shaping up to be a very entertaining show
