Just to let you guys know I am holding a 1 day Custom and Classic show on Saturday 25th April 2009 at The Coach and Horses, 84 Old Liverpool Road Warrington WA5 1BU. Just had an e-mail from a mate who is organising the Bikes in Paradise Show (for some reason he's just sussed out I ride bikes) anyway here's some details and also if the club would like a club stand he might be able to squeeze us in just let me know.

BIKERS IN PARADISE SHOW

The Bikers in Paradise Show will take place at the Paradise Wildlife Park on
Sunday 26th April 2009.

This should be a great day-out for all the family and we would encourage
everyone to come along and help make the show a success. It is a
not-for-profit event with all proceeds going to the Herts Air Ambulance and
the Wildlife Heritage Foundation.

There will be a large number of retail stands (about 40 in total) including
SBW Motorrad, Predator Motorsport, Motor Cycles & Moore, Hein Gericke, MAD
Products, GLR Scooters, Evolution Training, Girlsbike2, Enigma UK, Norton
Way Honda, The Bike Pavilion, Bykatryka, A & M Motorcycles, Cysticals,
Morgotha Silver, Fat Maggot T Shirts and many more. We are also pleased that
the Air Ambulance, the Driving Standards Agency, the IAM, the Highways
Agency, MAG and the Bloodrunners will be attending.

Most of the Bike Clubs in the region and some national ones will also be
there.

On the entertainment side we have 80s pop sensations Modern Romance
providing live music, supported by indie rock band The Knaves, and electric
rhythm and blues trio Ain't Life a Bitch. We have celebrity guests, with
Speedway and track stars, past and present, Gillian Taylforth (Eastenders
and The Bill), Ray Quinn (X-Factor and Dancing on Ice), snooker star Ronnie
O'Sullivan, and other surprise appearances.

There will be riding and bike competitions, raffles, auctions, dancing and
an exciting performance from "Sparky" one of the UK's leading stunt riders.
And to cap it all, entry to the show includes access to the zoo, with a
fantastic range of animals including an outstanding collection of big cats,
the children's adventure world, as well as the other on-site attractions
such as the UK Speedway Museum

Hertfordshire Police and Hertfordshire Road Safety will be running FREE
Bikesafe assessments at the show, but it is advisable to book in advance for
a place (call 01992 556800). If you want to take a chance on the day, make
sure you have all your paperwork with you (insurance, MOT etc). And on the
day there will be substantial discounts available for anyone who wishes to
sign up for advanced training by the IAM.

Tickets are £9.50 in advance (£6 for children and pensioners) and £14.00 on
the gate (£11 for children/pensioners). Gates open 10.00am

Being some what of a local to this, Paradise Wildlife Park is just off the A10 and only 6 miles from the M25. {A10/M25 J 25}

The tricky bit is once you turn off the A10 but it is sign posted, see WWW site for details.

Forgot to say that the prize in the ride in bike show is a £100 voucher to spend in our shop.

We have also been able to rent the Caravan Club camp site down at the canal (about 500meters from our shop) for free overnight camping on the Saturday. The site is not vast and camping will be limited so if you would like to come and spend the night at this picturesque location please contact us for confirmation (club members and partners only).

There will be running water and a porta loo at the site and quality toilets and shower near our shop. Entertainment will be limited to acoustic guitar etc.

This Sunday.

The Nottinghamshire Motorcycle Easter Egg Run will take place this year on Sunday April 5th 2009 and will be hosted for the third consecutive year by Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service.

Will be doing this one, anyone fancy meeting up?

Plenty of bikes out today for this event
Unfortunately my bike is off the road for a week or two so i had to go by car, it did give me chance to buy a few bits & bobs though.
