coming over

hi, just booked my tickets for a working week in the IoM, and i get to bring my bike! im coming over on the chim chim cheree or something like that from heysham and going back to liverpool on the seacat. ive never taken a bike on a ferry before, what are these services like and do i need to take anything with me? i know i shouldnt worry as they must transport thousands of bikes a year, but im just a bit concerned over my bike sliding around the deck!
im there for four days, going out on monday 17th and coming back on thurs 20th, and im working shifts when im there so i will have some spare time to ride around. if anyone is free during this time and fancies a ride, let me know. it would be good to meet some people from this club and get to see the sights at the same time!
