| And so it ends
Guess I was always going to be the first one home , so makes sense to leave a welcome back for everyone .Hope I didn't wake up you guys too early heading off for the early ferry, you know what a beast that V-Rod is and the decibels from that 2-1-2 have to be heard to be believed .Many thanks to Tony for his generosity and for all his organising. Sir, you are a real gent. Alan, really good to have met you, and what a fabulous rideout yesterday. It was nice to meet Dave Andrea after months of knowing him as a name, and of course the ever smiley Marie. Bless. Thanks to my welcoming committee as I came of the ferry Friday afternoon - made me feel very important .And finally, what a cracking group of fella's you all are, entertainers one and all. I swear if I wasn't introduced I'd soon have worked out who was who by matching your personalities & characters to the humour you provide to the website. Biggest smile was when Andy 12 string and Simon Terminator improvised the 'Moodey Dhoo Blues' taking the p**s out of some of the lads interesting lines round corners. Classic. Only the one downside to the whole weekend was the minibus driver. I knew Nigel Mansell had a home on the island, but didn't realise he'd taken such a down-turn in furtune that he was subbing as a taxi driver taking 30MPH urban conurbations at 60+. And £120 for 18 miles (in yer dreams, pal).Another weekend lodged forever into the memory banks, me thinks. Rod Bod

Great Pics Alex, Back home after another long weekend, special thanks to Alan B (Official Hog Road Captain) for getting us there, 'Sensual' Tony for arranging things and to all the Moody Blues for looking after us - although they could have sung us a song .... and I don't remember there being that many in the original band. Dave Andreas managed to get the entire IoM membership to meet us (just him) and the Moddey-Dhoo came from far and wide to join us .... well - as far and wide as you can get on the island! From the glorious sunshine in the lowlands, to the cold bleak fog in the mountains - we met some friendly people, saw some stunning scenery, had some enjoyable rides ...... and drank some beer. Another trip to add to photo album and more laughs in the bank (even if I did end up riding home with no clutch!!). It will soon be time to start organising next year's trips, Tony .... you've got a new job. 12
