Mersea Island - International Rally
The plan at the moment is to set off, starting from Barrow, Thursday (6 Sept) teatime and stop for the night at a hotel somewhere around Coventry. There are plenty of cheap hotels around M6 J2.
Hippy can put his Poundstretcher tent up in the car park.

Then set off on the last leg Friday morning.

The return trip we plan to do on Sunday after Brekky.

If you are interested in this, we would like to know numbers asap so we can book the hotel.

Hi Phil, Denise and I stopped at the premier inn just off Junction 2 a couple of months ago when we went to Coventry speedway for the Dirt Quake, the carpark isnt visible from the sorounding roads, it and the entrance are at the rear of the hotel and only people going to the hotel will see whats in the carpark.

This is the Premier Inn (M6 J2) that Shed recommended.
At the moment it is still £47 for a double/twin room for Thursday 6th Sept.

Need to think about booking soon peeps.

-Sounds good to me Bilbo!, just let me know what the crack is and I`ll meet you en-route ( how does the Holiday inn,Lancaster ? . . or Forton services fit with you guys ? )
