Cumbrian newbie

Hi, I'm new to the hangout and wanted to say hello.

I've had an 883 sportster for 18 months now and loving it. I'm from Penrith and live at Stainton and have been on a couple of Harley rides: the Cumbria Cottage Hospital ride last year from Alston to Penrith, particularly memorable was the hailstorm at Hartside, then glorious sun in Penrith. I also gatecrashed the rainy May Day ride in Penrith last year. But now I'm legit!

Thanks for the PM about this year's Penrith May Day carnival. Don't know if you got yourself along on a one-man parade this year .

If you can get along to one of the Thursday meetings at the Barnaby Rudge in Tebay. You can ask about the Lakes Rally in July and other events and get to meet some of the members from further afield.
