Cheers. Im geting there would feel better if i knew the outcome of the insurance and a timescale for repairs. As for the title it does say "gets" not takes! Still hope to see you tomorrow although the hour in a car might be a problem!

I think youre just playing with semantics there. If youre ready to come out - just let everyone know. Was it a male nurse by any chance? Hope it all gets sorted before the sun goes,12.

Re: skikool gets it up the rear!!

Just glad you are ok Gordon. When i worked in a dealership, i worked on a softail that had been rear ended and it had bent the fender struts up and outwards. The fender struts are cast and as a result of the damage they had received the bike had to have a new frame. I kid you not. I do hope that your damage aint that bad.The chap got a new frame with the original numbers stamped into it so his bike papers were all ok. Insurance took care of the costs so he was not out of pocket.Hope the bruising heals quick.

Re: skikool gets it up the rear!!

Still got my fingers crossed for a speedy repair! ok so i kidding myself, Not heard from the insurance inspector yet, phone calls tomorrow. I spoke to preston HD who said the same about a frame they have a buell in for one just now. Frustratingly due to it pi**ing down and being dark I didnt have a good look round the bike so cant be sure on damage. PS it was a female nurse and a good looking one! I calmed down quick from jumping up and waving hands like a fat hairy biker should to biting my tounge and swapping details. Oh well its been wet all summer anyway and its not sunny or anything!
