Passing of a Fellow Biker.

Sadly, in the early hours of Thursday 29th May my family were struck by tradegy when my wife's brother, Tony Crouch, died at the tragically young age of just 47 years old.

Tony was struck down by a blood clot in the back of his head on the preceeding Saturday and despite the best efforts of Preston's critical care surgeons and nurses, he never regained consciousness.

Tony spent much of his biker years on British Bikes, owning Norton Commando's and Triumph Bonneville's amongst others. He had his last bike just a few years ago, that being a beautiful 1980 Kawasaki Z1000.

I hope forum members and visitors don't mind me posting this on here, but Tony was very, very well known in the Barrow and District area and there is every chance that visitors to this site may have known him.

Tony had a character and charisma that made an unforgettable imprint on everyone he came into contact with. Knowing Tony is one of the highlights of my life and he has enriched my life for many years.

He will be Sadly missed and Fondly remembered.

Rest in Peace Buddy.

Squizzle, if someone has made a difference, in a good way, to somebody's life then that is a great testament. Even though they may not be here in body they live forever in your heart.
My sympathies to you and your family however have eternal happy memories of Tony.
