Re: Lakes Rally 2009

Had a great time; thanks to all those involved in organising it.

Blew my big end on the way home so hope I won the Sportster.

This was our first Lakes Rally and seeing as we enjoyed it (and the surroundings) I don't think it will be the last.

Funnily enough it was Gordon - who is not only a Lakes member, but director of the HOG chapter at Preston HD.

To be fair, the draw was supervised by Andy Hornsby, the editor of American V, and the ticket selected by the chairman of Kirby Longsdale council. Gordon to his credit wanted to put it back in the draw (A £5K Sportster - nutter or what???) but was overruled.

Whoops, I guess you didn't read it very well. You had to be present to win it. If your name had come out, it would have been drawn again! Don't wanna make that mistake in the future!!

Well done to our leaders for a great Rally, it can't have been easy to organise a glorious Saturday when the forecast was heavy storms for the whole country!

Brilliant Ladies and Gentlemen and thank you all very much indeed.

Shit happens, luckily for me it's no big deal. Providing paying work doesn't get in the way it should be back together by the weekend.

Hope you sort your starting problem.
