Hardknott rules OK

A very big thank you to the Region 4 organisers for an excellent rally.

My deepest thanks to Carl and Cliff for two brill rideouts. Great routes and good company. Saturday took in Tan Hill from the Keld hairpins and then by special request a canter over the Kirkstone pass. Sunday's excursion round the South West fells was a cracking ride. The Hardknott pass is awesome and is highly recommended to anyone who wants to test their riding skills and nerve. Hairpins with 30% inclines are interesting going up on wet single track roads and having got to the top you get to do it all again on the way down. Stiff drinks all round were called for after that one.

Looking forward to doing it all again next year.
