Run out Sunday 9th Aug

Any one up for a run out Sunday 9th August? Thinking of going to “Big Ds Mods & Rockers” bash at the Piece Hall Halifax. Went to one of his shows earlier in the year and it was good. There is a £3.00 entry fee. Leaving Barrow at 10.00 with the usual pick ups along the way, if anyone is thinking of joining us from the Lancaster area and feel that Settle is a better meeting place let me know, Settle maybe a better stopping spot for us, coffee, fags etc. Any way let me have your thoughts and we will take it from there.

OK, some details about tomorrow leave Strawberry garage at 10.00, quick stop at Crooklands around 11.00 and then onto Settle, we will park up in the Square opposite "Ye Old Naked Man Cafe" should be there 11.30-11.45, have a brew then on to Halifax via Keighley, anyone wanting to join us is welcome, I will check the site later and again in the morning so if theres any questions. Oh Cliff forgot to tell you that the protocol at the Blues Club is if you win a prize in the raffle you donate it for next weeks draw, they have had that bottle several years!!!!!!!

7 bikes, 9 bods, set off and returned (must be doing something right). Just a dodgy gear lever to slow proceedings, but the good old lecky's tape saved the day! No more mishaps, little bit of round-about surfing courtesy of Tony G and on to Halifax. Decent show, in an excellent setting, chance to have a wander round and chill out, before returning home on quieter roads than earlier. Excellent day, thanks to all for the company. Cheers

Twas a good day indeed and Big Ed got to look at himself in lots of shop windows as we passed through the various places . So it was Tong G's fault we did the Deja vu thing on the roundabout eh, I thought we were just trying to piss Bilbo off with a nice long right hander so he could scrape his exhaust for a record amount of time.
