BTW, hope everyone turns up at the right place. You might be interested to know it's at Morecambe and not Morecombe, FFS Chris!

It's Hippy's way of ensuring a win for the Lakes members, he sends everyone to the wrong destination. Works a treat!

I fully intend to, it's a definite for next summer. With the limited time I had this year, it was my top priority to get to Rallies, hence lakes and Walesby. I've put some pretty good mileage under my belt in the time I've had, been to some excellent places with Matt FXDX and he and Tracey are very good company too, which bumped up some pretty good mileage. Depending where we meet, I'm clocking up 60-80 miles just to meet up, then Matt leads us off to for the days trip (Rivington Barn was the last run out couple of weeks ago), then I peel off on the return journey and head back 60-80 miles again, occasionally diverting off to Devil's bridge on the way home for a cuppa . Blooming marvellous. Been on regional ride-outs, Halifax Show hosted by the Slaves being probably the pick of the crop. Few more ride-outs with friends and individual club members, Tony G an myself having a run out to Keswick last weekend. On top of that little lot, I've had a few solo runs of approx 250-300miles each time. So I've been making up for the late start I had this year whenever possible. I've had a great time over the last couple of months in fact and writing that little lot has just brought it all back to me and I'm sort of enjoying it all again, lol. I guess the late start made me more determined to take every opportunity I got, therefore I've probably clocked up more or less as any other summer. Hopefully weather will stay mild for a little while longer too. Then I've alreay got my winter jobs lined up, so I'm a happy bunny bike wise now. I have a couple of goals already set for next year. Ace being one of them and the Kernow Rally being another.
