Heart Stopper

Had a good one today... went through to Preston Harley with Big Ed and my bike was kak up as we got rained on (there and back).. So I left my bike outside the garage doors so when it had cooled down I could wash it off.

I am on the phone and my Miss's comes running in.... er I have just run into your bike (3mth old Fatbob) and your alarm is going off.................
I absolutely blew my fekking top.. and I mean big big style.

The sight I saw was, my Harley front embedded into my garage door with the bars turned fully left, but still upright.. I went even more ballistic.

She did say kinda sorry but blamed me for leaving it in such a stupid place ;o)... go figure!!

Now I have calmed down.. I put the twist grip and front brake back to its correct position and straightened the indicator... then gave it a very close scrutinisation ... luckily (for her and the bike) ;o).... I cant find any damage...
But still makes me feel sick...

Re: Heart Stopper

I would have resembled a steam engine blowing down the boiler when going out to see bike like that.

Well done for holding it together (you did didn't you? ).

Re: Heart Stopper

I did, though I don't know if I will ever forgive her ...

She did the exact same thing to my H*nda Ace that cost me a few £'s to fix.
I keep looking for damage to the Fatbob... it must of slid along on its side stand and then into the door upright... Car is a 4x4 with big plastic bumpers so that must of taken the impact.

Only a bike! a bit too much understanding going on here me thinks. Let them get away with it and they will be saying if you had a car i would have seen it and i told you bikes are dangerous etc etc. Beware this may be the thin end of the wedge!!
