Re: New Dealership?

When I was chatting to the Harley girls at the BMF they thought it was going to be beginning of August

Re: New Dealership?

Hope it's soon.I can't believe that Lincoln is really getting it's own Harley-Davidson dealer(about blinkin' time!).Not sure that Notts,Doncaster or Rutland Dealers would agree though!
I'm off for another look this Saturday.

Re: New Dealership?

Went and had a look round today. Looks very nice, not too big and with a patio area to be finished outside. Met one of the mech's and mot test men Ian (I would have no hesitation to him working on my bike). He rides a Crossbones and one of the owners has a Heritage ST. Some of the bikes were still to be unwrapped. He said they open officially on Monday 14th but will be open tomorrow (Sat).

I think this will be the website: Lincoln Harley Davidson

Re: New Dealership?

Open on Saturday, in that case Mort & I will be there to hand them some regional posters and membership forms

And of course befriend the aliens from afar

Oh! and here's a thought, just because someone has a flash ride doesn't mean he knows how to use a spanner

Of the few questions I put to him he knew what he was talking about and did not try to fluff the answers. When I told him that I do most of the work on my bike myself he never lost interest but said no problem and welcomed giving advice if needed.

Re: New Dealership?

Well I called in to have a look around and drop off some posters and membership forms.
Can't say I was overly impressed.
But maybe I'm just too fussy.

Still it was nice to see a familiar face from St Ledger

Pity they couldn't have found a better building in a nicer location though.
Still it'll give the local scrotes somthing new to trash at night
