Vulcan XH558 at this weekends air show ;-)

Couple of pics from my garden this afternoon of Vulcan XH558 arriving for the Royal Air Force Waddington International Air Show this weekend. It was granted it's CAA certification to fly at shows today. Gave a good show before it landed. We are only 2 1/2 miles away.

At the risk of going over all poetical - it's gotta make your heart sing to see such a beautiful aircraft in the air again. Thank God for all the volunteers and benefactors who donated time & cash to getting her airworthy again.

Spent 18 vears working on V Bombers, 12 of those on Vulcans.
So I have very fond memories of that superb aircraft

The message I was waiting for yesterday: Vulcan to the Sky Trust - Avro Vulcan Bomber XH558 - Vulcan Operating Company

It would be nice to see XM607 and XH558 together for a photo call.

I've just returned from exhibiting my military Land Rover at Yeovilton. I was hoping the Vulcan would make an appearance but it was not to be.
However the Typhoon was amazing and the P51 Mustang sounded awsome
