Just got back from visiting.
Mort has his new lightweight cast on and was, well just being the normal Mort and was busy taking pictures of his cuts and bruises . He's hoping to be out some time tomorrow.
Sue was sat up and smiling, despite having had her leg pinned and plated (it was bust in 3 places). but it'll be a good few days before she gets released.

Both were given some 1st Aid cake so are on the mend.

just got back from seeing mort and sue , mort had op went ok as far as he knows few cuts and bruises but ok in him self took him some cake as did spen, sue had her op yesterday leg broken in 3 places looks well beat up going to be in for a while , the bikes bit of a mess ,car driver was well pissed, bastard

That articles a bit of a liberty. The way they've phrased it Mort needed more training as they haven't mentioned a drunk driver....
