for those interested, I'm back home with titanium wrist, maid in cornwall has got pins in her tib, fib and thigh, a couple of cracked ribs and has been for a CT scan as she still has a head ache ! she did manage to haul herself out of bed and into a chair today.

my legs worth more than your wrist i finally got the hang of this bloody hospital computer. lol. Thankyou everyne for your kind messages. I just managed crutches today but bruising in arms and hands is stopping me from escaping.ihave a good supply of cheesy biscuits and teadelivered on regular basis. Think Mort could do with an electric tin opener tho. I am getting there but will update properly when i can as this hospital pc thing is driving me nuts .lol

Glad you're on the mend. If I thought it would help, I'd get Hamish to come up & see you to show you that an accident, no matter how bad, isn't as bad if you come out of it alive at the other side. Unfortunately, anyone seeing Hamish gets the screamin' heeby-jeebies and wishes it were the last day. Mind you, it was the same before his accident too.
