St George's Day - Fly the Flag with Pride!

Hi Folks,

Advance Notice………. on Saturday 19th April - The London Region is again riding in the St Georges Day Parade, Whitton (near Twickenham).

We had a good turn-out last year and were the highlight of the parade. Let's see if we can field a bigger contingent this year. If any of our country cousins are up for it they'd be most welcome.

They are really looking forward to us participating again and the organisers have reserved parking for us outside my local - The Admiral Nelson - after the parade for you to show off your pride and joy. Harleys only I'm afraid.
We meet at the local school -

see http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=514061&y=173959&z=0&sv=tw2+7bu&st=2&p c=tw2+7bu&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf
- time to be confirmed later - but it's usually about a 10:30 kick-off.

I'd be very grateful if you'd let me know if you are interested - if everyone responds we may have to limit numbers.

Cheers,

Tony PYRO Dowden,

IMPORTANT - IF YOU KNOW ANY MEMBERS - OR PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS - WHO ARE NOT ON EMAIL PLEASE LET THEM KNOW….

Ok Bazza.

Now I understand. Both the central South and London people leave from the same place.

My original question was whether the London crew ride to twichenham together so as to randevouz you lot coming from the Ace cafe.

I am saying this right?

Angelo,

As usual Bazza's beat me to it, bless him - and he's got it right! We do meet up at the school because many of us live within walking distance.

We look forward to seeing you on the day.

Don't forget a St George's flag (or two) on yer bike.

Cheers,

T

Martin,

So long as you're on a Harley you're welcome to attend, ride with us and have a pint afterwards. I might just thrust a membership form in yer hand though!

Hope to see you there,

Pyro

Re: St George's Day - Fly the Flag with Pride!

Hi Folks,

Don't forget……….Saturday 19th April - The London Region and friends are riding in the St Georges Day Parade, Whitton (near Twickenham).

This is gonna be quite an event this year with Old Comrades associations and standards, the fire service, local groups etc. and about six bands.

They are really looking forward to us participating again and the organisers have reserved parking for us outside my local - The Admiral Nelson - after the parade for you to show off your pride and joy.

We meet at 10:15 - 10:30 a.m. at Nelson School (TW2 6BU0), click below for map.

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=514061&y=173959&z=0&sv=tw2+7bu&st=2&p c=tw2+7bu&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf

Bring the family - it's a great day out………….and don't forget your St George's Cross.

There's been a good response so far but I'll need to know who's coming to reserve enough space.
Cheers,

PYRO
