Unhappy Any Info On Missing Part Of Family???

[IMG][/IMG]Trying to trace a Sporster with a custom paint job has a women on the tank, reg D579 UGN.
http://www.harley-davidson-hangout.c...30/ppuser/5117
It was owned by my soon to be wife's mum ' Vanda' approx 8-10 years ago and was a big part of the family. Sadly Vanda passed away and I am now trying to find the bike for my other half Zara.

Any one with some info on the bikes where abouts would be greatly welcomed or if the owner could get in touch!

Thanks

Ross

Re: Any Info On Missing Part Of Family???

I'll put your request in our club magazine for you and let you know if anyone knows of the whereabouts.

Having just checked HERE:
The Motor Insurance Database (MID) holds insurance details of 34 million vehicles

Check HERE to see if your bike/car has been registered by an insurance company.

Quote:
D579UGN is on the Motor Insurance Database today.
The details on the MID are:

Vehicle Make/Model:HARLEY DAVIDSON XL
So I would suggest you contact the DVLA under certain circumstances they do give out addresses.

Also got this off their site.

Quote:
The enquiry is complete
The vehicle details for D579 UGN:
Date of Liability 01 01 2009
Date of First Registration 04 01 1995 (that doesn't add up? Unless it was imported 2nd hand possibly)
Year of Manufacture 1987
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1200CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Licence Not Due
Vehicle Colour BLACK

Re: Any Info On Missing Part Of Family???

Hi, i seem to remember Back Street Heroes did a bit about her years ago. Have you asked there, perhaps a letter published in that magazine would cast your net further.
All the best in your quest.

Re: Any Info On Missing Part Of Family???

HI yes BSH did do a section on Vanda, she also had her funeral prosesion printed in their. big turnout!

My other half Zara was also a model for a few bikes in the mag but still cannot find the bike!!!!!!

Just had a letter back from DVLA saying they will not give us the details! how ever for a fiver they will send a letter to the owner on our behalf!

The bike is on the road and insured!

So its not over yet!

I will find her.... just hope its still got the same paint job!!
