| Bolts for risers
I got some of the aftermarket risers and while I don't own a HD, they also look great on other bikes! Who knows if the thread on these are USC or USF? They look like 1/2" bolts, slightly larger than M12. The picture here isn't very good but it should give you some idea of the risers I'm talking about - I got the 4" and 6" versions. I hope someone out there knows what bolts they need! |

I have had risers just like that, they took UNC bolts. A *GOOD* fastener supplies shop will have them in stock.

Generally when a bolt goes into Aluminium, it is coarse. Into Steel then it would be fine. This applies to metric as well as imperial.

Cheers for all those useful tips. And cheers for helping out a geezer who doesn't ride a Harley! I like reading DicE and Geasy Kulture so sooner or later I will no doubt jump into the deep end with an old Pan or Shovel... when I get the right comination of time, dosh and energy!
