Bolts for risers

I got some of the aftermarket risers and while I don't own a HD, they also look great on other bikes! Who knows if the thread on these are USC or USF? They look like 1/2" bolts, slightly larger than M12. The picture here isn't very good but it should give you some idea of the risers I'm talking about - I got the 4" and 6" versions. I hope someone out there knows what bolts they need!

Most Harley stuff is UNC.
Check sizes here.

Re: Bolts for risers

I have had risers just like that, they took UNC bolts. A *GOOD* fastener supplies shop will have them in stock.

Re: Bolts for risers

Generally when a bolt goes into Aluminium, it is coarse. Into Steel then it would be fine. This applies to metric as well as imperial.

Re: Bolts for risers

Cheers for all those useful tips. And cheers for helping out a geezer who doesn't ride a Harley! I like reading DicE and Geasy Kulture so sooner or later I will no doubt jump into the deep end with an old Pan or Shovel... when I get the right comination of time, dosh and energy!
