St George's Day 2012

Saturday 21st April, 2012 - The London Region will yet again be riding their bikes in the annual St Georges Day Parade, Whitton (near Twickenham). We've had an excellent turn-out for the last six years and we are always the highlight of the parade. As usual, if any of our country cousins would like to join us they'd be most welcome.

All the locals look forward to the H-DRCGB participating and we always get a warm welcome. The organisers reserve parking for us outside my local - The Admiral Nelson - after the parade for you to show off your pride and joy….. with the added bonus of a free pint courtesy of the London Region.

As usual Harleys only.

The parade usually moves off at noon - so we will be meeting up at the marshalling point (to be confirmed soon) at 11:30 a.m.

I could be up for that if I'm not in then US or Africa. Should be around. I don't know anyone but I do have a Harley - a matt black one that I don't clean (sorry). I could clean it specially.

We meet at Nelson School , Nelson Road, Whitton, TW2 7BU.

The parade moves off this year at 11:00 (please note earlier time) - so we will be meeting up at the school from 10:00 and by 10:30 a.m. at the latest.
