Due to breathing difficulties John has gone back into the Hospice this afternoon. He expects to be in for a week or so. Hospice is St Mary's at Ulverston. Visiting hours are fairly flexible.

Spoke to John a little today ,sounds tired but upbeat .Reckons he nagged a bit to get home last time ,but now nurses are giving stronger medication ,they will let him go home when they think its best .Said a few are still asking on here and that Tony C kept us all informed,talked about the grandkids as well .Ours have got the same name .

Told him we will visit in a couple of weeks and he kindly informed me i have booked in at the dampest valley in the lakes cheers

Allo all. Thanks to Tony for being my link to the forum and thanks for all the best wishes etc, all much appreciated. Things have been very up and down and that's still ongoing I guess. Anyway, gonna see if they can sort the breathing out before rushing off home this time. Carnival time has started now, so Olivia's been doing those last weekend. She picked up a First position on Saturday and a Third on Sunday. She's gotta another two this weekend. Think that's all that's happening with us at the moment. Everything is pushed to on side once the Carnival's have started! Mel has started doing the Carnivals again too this year after a year off. It's a good distraction for her, so I think it's a good idea that she got back to it. Ok, good to get back online, will try again in the not too distant future. Byeeeeee.
