My point is. As I see it,- this web site is completely independent of the club,-It’s not a matter of the money,- I’d gladly pay that just for use, & access of this site, in fact I almost regard this site’s little community as a club.- Respect to all concerned for it.

But what else is involved,- I have friends on here that’ll buy me a pint,- card or no card, What I can read in a magazine,- I can read on here no? (Im willing to be corrected here).
I just worry that by actually becoming a member I’ll be susceptible to a host of rules that could well be thrown back in my face if I don’t “fit in to the box.” Or fit in with the “right fold.” –something as a visitor I don’t & can’t.

Re: Benifits of membership.

No rush to do anything L.V.

Wait until October (15 mths membership) after you have done Badnamemikes farm and maybe another rally then decide.

No pressure, but for some the tool hire is worth it just for that, but as you said you would not need to use that. You must be well 'tooled up'

When I first met you you said you had done your fair share of clubs so why have you had a change of heart? Is it because we are such a good bunch. Your contribution to the technical and custom pages is of great use and interest to people they can also encourage people to join after being helped from members/users of this site.

Look at Little Dave (N.I.) Phil and USA Bernie (USA) and Big_John (Esp) they all enjoy the fact that they are members and look at how many rallies Little Dave and Big_John do.

You must make the choice we can't convince you it's solely your decision.

Anyway did someone say you wouldn't get blackballed.....

Oh give it a rest. LV It doesn't work like that and you know it. Sure there are rules but they are in the main obvious and/or bureaucratic stuff about how the club is governed but we don't have road captains or censorship. Most of the membership is working diligently toward not fitting into any boxes. The unwritten rules like "Don't touch my bike without permission" and "don't disrespect my misses even if you are very pissed" are common law anyway.
