Re: Euro Bike Laws (2)

An excellent meeting was held today at Salisbury Town Hall . The meeting was chaired by Mr Dinwiddy and his clan. It was decreed that the Town Hall overcharge for their drinks (tea and coffee) and there were too many rosetted suits wandering around (Euro Bureaucrats).

After approximately one hour, it was decided that there was no back up from the motorcycling fraternity as there were five bikes from Region 19 (New Forest), three bikes from West Country and approximately three other bikes from who knows where.

Having then discussed amongst ourselves which rallies we were going to attend, (The Farmyard Party being the most popular topic!) the meeting was adjourned because we were outnumbered by MPs and fed up with their silly comments ie "Does anyone know that Salisbury is run by Exeter"

However, on a brighter note it was nice to meet everybody and the new faces. Look forward to seeing you all in the forthcoming rallies or down the pub on Friday.

Re: Euro Bike Laws (2)

Yeah, it was nice to meet you guys too. I was expecting the event to be something completely different but after riding around the town a couple of times and only seeing the occasional bike it was obviously not going to be!

Still, the rain kept off surprisingly and we had a lovely pint in the Haunch o Venison!
