Kent Pitch and Party

Hi all,

As discussed last night a group run up (? along) to The region 17 Pitch and Party 2006 will depart from Winchester Services on the M3 on Friday 19th May. Leaving at 1430 or 2:30 p.m. in old money. I intend to get there for about 2 of the clock and have a cuppa before leaving.

The route from Winchester services to the camp site is:

Start at M3, (UK-SO21 1PP)

Leave the M3 at junction M3 J2/M25 J12 and straight ahead into M25 direction DARTFORD, GATWICKAIRPORT via [M23], [M25] GATWICKAIRPORT, CHERTSEY via [A320].

Leave the M25 at junction M25 J5 and straight ahead into M26 direction SEVENOAKS, DOVER, HASTINGS via [A21], CHANNEL TUNNEL via [M20], [M26] MAIDSTONE.

Leave the M26 at junction M20 J3 and straight ahead into M20

Leave the M20 at junction M20 J7 and straight ahead into A249 (Sittingbourne Road) direction SHEERNESS, RAMSGATE, CANTERBURY, [A249] MAIDSTONE

After 13.8 miles take the 2nd Exit off the roundabout into B2231 (Lower Road).

Continue straight into B2231 (Lower Road). ( Sheerness )

After 434 yards take the th Exit off the Thistle Hill Roundabout (Roundabout) into B2231 (Lower Road). ( Sheerness )

You have arrived your destination "B2231 (Lower Road), SHEERNESS (UK-ME12 3RT)"

Total distance: 115.1 miles (185.2 km )

If anyone wnats to go, but needs a later start time post it up here and we could either delay leaving a bit or there could be a second group. First group gets the beer in? ( I don't think so )

Always better to work out your own route than get one from BaZa .... saves on the mileage ;) Hope to see some of you in Kent.

Hi all just to let you know there are roadworks for the last 2 miles on A249, and they are moving the cones around ,getting ready to join 249 on to our new bridge, also watch out for white camera van parked near roadworks.
