| Ride for life
on behalf of the rest of region 19 I would like to thank Rikki (frog) and Dave (Dyna Daz) for carrying the Ride for Life baton from South Mimms to Amesbury in the hissing rain. They did their bit to support the region ''well done lads'' so we all owe them a pint next time we see them!!!! Jto

They were stars not only had they been to the region 17 rally that weekend they made their tents up early Sunday morning and joined Central Sth for the wet ride to meet the west country crew. And Rikki got his new bike wet again. I don't think it has had any dry miles since he got it. |

I tell you its them feckin batons they are rain sticks. New bike is Er large but nice. Was dirty but now clean again. However out on it again tomorrow and rain is forecast. Had 6,000 dry miles until I got me hands on it No such thing as bad weather only the wrong clothes - speaking of which: Respect to Dave who having decided that it wasn't really raining did the whole run in his leathers plus two carrier bags for his feet and a pair of them plastic gloves you get at petrol pumps under his gloves.
