Fall Off Cliff!

just been to visit cliff at home, who has fractured a bone at the top of his arm at the shoulder socket= ouch!
turns out he was out on his pushbike last evening
in the local woodland getting fit, and found a kids bmx area and thought he would give it a bash ,at his age he ought to have known better, one circuit and a few ramps later hes taken off landed hard flown over handlebars and crash landed on said shoulder.

4 hours waiting down in casulty, hes now got arm in sling and off work for about 6 weeks.

i am sure everyone would like to join me in wishing him a speedy recovery.

ouch , fractured humerus. Hope you feel ok to get to the pub for a liquid pain killer tommorow - guess all bike building is off the cards for a while. Can't believe you went on the BMX track though china - could ave told you not to go there i ride mtbs all the time and i would not go near one of them tracks at our age - at your age.

As danny glover said in lethal wepon "i'm to old for this shit" . ,i dont seem to bounce as well as i used too. Should be ok for rally as doc said 6 weeks, bored stiff allreadey but should be fit enough to make pub on friday so not total disaster. see you soon
