Bike nights at the Quay cafe, every Thursday eve,

A great cafe, run by a great Bike riding couple, Mick and Rowan.

Nice Cafe with a lounge and outside seated decking area.

Good special meal as well as menu, usually £4-5 with Tea, 9pm last orders.

Attitude Customs new premises is just opposite and stays open late as well,

Located in Hazel Rd Woolston in the old Jubilee Trust yard, 20yds up from the Yacht pub.

Im up for this, working late this Thurs but will try and get over next week

We go ut round Woolston quite alot either down the Oby or The Swan (good bands on a Sat night).

Will try drag my mate Dave along with his old Suzuki GT750 along (us kettle owners have gotta stick together ) plus its only down the road and all down hill so he might actually make it

MMMMM, reasonable meals with TEA, like the sound of that, and it might work in OK with Postie's very unsociable hours that he is doing at the moment.

Near a Yacht club sounds a bits posh for us lot, we'll lower the tone.

I've heard that the council have agreed to let motorbikes go across Itchen bridge for free and they are setting up doing away with the charge this financial year. If we go the long way round (for us coming from the West) I could go up that Athelstone Road hill (if my bike will make it) and, at the top, I might be able to practice my hill start and turn right out of that junction too, hope there's no adverse camber AS WELL - but, all good practice.

Hi Di,

Its near the Yacht Pub, not club.

We live in Athelstan rd so if your going stop by on your way,

I promise I wont laugh at your hill starts.

Bit of a challenge that one though for learners, its very steep, not good if there is a few cars waiting either.

Usually meet there for breakfast before rideouts, in fact i'm going there in a hour before the MAG show at Eastleigh

OOOOOOh - think it was the bit about Jubilee Yard and I thought of Jubilee Sailing Trust by the river, at the Quay and all that ....... my brain gets carried away ...... and they wanna make Woolston all posh don't they.....

Thanks for the offer of stopping where you live, but if you really think I'd stop my bike once it's rolling up that flipping hill AND have to do two hill starts with you and Robbie looking ...... nah, not brave enough.
