Just got an e-mail from the Independants (nice people,nice club) Got a flyer but it's in word and I can't get the ferker out, but it goes as follows,

its wifeys birthday on saturday and she's visiting the dragon -in-law, cannot possibly go now, much better things to do

dropped in for a visit, very disappointing showing considering the effort that had been put in .i.e. real ale bar, music, barbie etc.

quite a few vintage bikes, ariel leader,panther,quite a few triumphs, couple of bantams,a sunbeam and a couple of trikes and a neat triumph outfit.

had a good chat with lots of old boys about the vintage stuff

only little wal from our region had turned up, on his shovel, just as i was leaving at 1.30pm .

i hope for the sake of the organisers, more people turned up after i left

Andy, I didn't get there 'til 4 o'clock 'kin work the curse of the riding class Not much there then..stayed for about an hour an half..nice chat to some people that used to frequent the cafe But I did get some texts around twelve thirty sayin where the ferk are you it's heavin, nice machines etc had a chat with the organiser he said if they get enough response they might do it every year..praps it would be better on a Sunday

I was not there for the results, but I must have got a first or second,
there was only two outfits there.

looks like i left just as it filled up, bloody inconsiderate of wifey to have her birthday on the same day

I got there about 2.30ish. I could only just find a spot to put the bike. I thought the turnout was good for a first time event. I could'nt stay long as there were other things going on. (ashes live at my local and beer).
I loved the Vincent. If it's on next year I will go again.

See we did go aint been out for 2 years, well it feels like it... and only good ol' Dennis, and lil Wal there, had a good chat wiv both Nice do good weaver,

Dennis that is a magic outfit look froward to seein it again.........
