Re: popham megameet/bike jumble

Just got back from a cracking day out, thanks Andy.
Managed to get Nervous Nerys to ride in the chair.
Blagged free entry, drove the outfit through the exhibitor's gate
Hundreds of bikes and stalls, picked up a few bargains.
Great weather.
Didn't see any members there, but no bugger recognises me anyway.

Re: popham megameet/bike jumble

cliff and i rode up with the boys from attitude customs on their choppers, between crashed cages on the a34 just passed winnall and people going the wrong way and having to ride down the dual carriage way on the A33 for a 100yrds or so in the wrong direction
we did not get there untill 1.30pm.

had a good wander around, glad cliff and i decided not to do a pitch there, as most people seemed to be browsing rather than buying

some lovely bikes to look at , a very cleverly engineered twin engined kawasaki z1300.(have'nt looked at daves photos yet, so hopefully he caught it)

half way round, got verbally abused by some "buelligans" who had hot footed it over from their day out at sammy millers

personnally i don't know how robbie can walk around with dave and don, the cheap skates even avoided paying to get in .......i would be too embarressed

what a hectic weekend, just as well i have got next week off work, to have a rest! -lol

Re: popham megameet/bike jumble

A great day out, popham show just gets bigger and better every year, lots of bargains in the jumble and plenty of interesting bikes,
This is Steve Hillarys, from Winchester XR that he races quite regulary.
He's moveing away from his Ducati business Moto Rapido, to concentrate on building Flat tracker replica's, Harley, Buell , Triumph, Yamaha and Rotax powered
