Bill's New Bones - Dr Bob's Old Bones!!!

Well, the new bike turned up at 8 Thursday morning and that evening I took it on the ferry to France along with Jude on hers, JTO, Al and Char, Paul and Kim, Steve Piper and Big Gary.

We went over to Dr Bob and Gloria's for his 60th Birthday bash. 60 or so people came over from England and there was probably about 100 people there all told. It was really good to see some old faces Jude and I had not seen for about 10 years. He had a band on Friday and another on Saturday and a bar supplied by a local English bar doing bitter and lager all in a marquee. It was an excellent weekend - there are a few tales to tell - as you would expect!!!!

Dr Bob has been left with some real scars to remember the weekend by.....so you can tell he was having a good time....

Anyway, the bike is everything I had hoped it would be. I am like a dog with 2 dicks........ It was delivered with 400 miles on the clock and I have added 425 miles to that over the weekend - Walesby next weekend so by the time it has it's first service the weekend after it will have done about 1400 miles..............

Yes a great weekend I just hope Dr Bobs body recovers ok he worked bloody hard to give every body a good time even though he was in pain
